CX for What’s Next event branding

Creating an identity built for what's next.

CX for What’s Next is a dinner discussion series exploring emerging trends and ideas shaping customer experience. Each event needed its own distinct expression while contributing to a recognizable identity for the larger series.

Working in close partnership with Bynd and its Head of Brand Strategy, I helped develop a visual language built around expressive typography, modular geometry, and a bold color palette. Together, we translated that direction into an extensive collection of digital, print, editorial, and environmental applications.

Building a system, not just a look.

At the heart of the identity was a modular graphic system developed in close collaboration with Bynd’s Creative Director. Simple geometric forms, repeating patterns, and directional symbols came together to create a distinctive visual vocabulary.

Elements could be rearranged, scaled, layered, and combined with photography and typography, allowing the identity to take on different expressions while remaining recognizable across the series.

A modular graphic system, distinctive color palette, and expressive typography established the foundation for the CX for What’s Next identity.

A visual identity only comes to life through the experiences it creates.

Responsive web and social applications introduced the series and its discussion topics through a mix of bold typography, graphic patterns, and editorial imagery.

From event signage and posters to printed collateral, the graphic system shaped the physical experience, giving the series a recognizable presence beyond the screen.

One identity. Different conversations.

Each discussion introduced its own subject matter, from artificial intelligence in retail to the future of travel. Those themes created opportunities to explore different imagery, compositions, and visual treatments within the broader creative direction.

The work also extended beyond event promotion into longer-form editorial content, including research reports and thought leadership materials that gave individual topics greater depth.

Selected reports and editorial materials exploring artificial intelligence, retail, and travel, built within the broader CX for What’s Next visual system.

Creative collaboration at every scale.

What made CX for What’s Next particularly rewarding was the opportunity to work closely with Bynd’s Creative Director, moving between high-level creative exploration and the practical details of bringing an identity to life.

The project required different kinds of thinking at different stages, from developing a distinctive graphic language to working through how it would function in web layouts, printed materials, environmental graphics, and editorial publications.

It’s an approach I bring to creative partnerships: contributing to the larger vision while staying closely involved in the design decisions that make the work successful.
